72 HOURS is officially the No. 1 movie on Netflix after exploding to 22.1 million views during its first full week on the platform.
Kevin Hart stars as Joe, a 40 year old advertising executive who fears his career is slipping away and joins a group of twenty somethings on a chaotic Miami bachelor party after accidentally being added to their group chat. The comedy premiered on Netflix on July 24 and quickly climbed to the top of the streaming charts.
Directed by Tim Story, the filmmaker behind RIDE ALONG and THINK LIKE A MAN, the movie also stars Marcello Hernández, Mason Gooding, Ben Marshall, Kam Patterson and Teyana Taylor. Hartbeat, Will Packer Productions, Davis Entertainment and Counterbalance produced the film, reuniting Hart with several of the creators behind some of his biggest comedies.
A wild bachelor party, a huge generational clash and Kevin Hart back at the center of another Netflix hit. 72 HOURS has turned one terrible decision into the biggest movie on the platform right now.
