A tipper truck was involved in a fatal incident at the Kang'oki dumpsite in Kisii Estate early this morning.
According to information received by Thika Thika, the truck's raised tipper body came into contact with overhead power lines while the driver was offloading garbage. The driver is reported to have died at the scene.
Kenya Power personnel and police officers responded to the incident and secured the area as the truck remained at the scene. The circumstances surrounding the incident are expected to be established through the relevant investigations.
